The lawyers and staff of Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, P.L.C. are saddened to announce the death of long-time partner and former Firm President, Thomas M. Collins, Sr. on August 5, 2020, at his home in Tucson, Arizona. A link to his complete obituary appears below.Tom was more than a tremendously talented lawyer and fierce advocate for his clients. He was a trusted counselor and business advisor to many of our region’s most successful businesses. He was a creative problem-solver who brought successful resolutions to seemingly irreconcilable situations. Tom brought a tremendous drive to succeed and spirit of innovation to the Firm during his tenure as President and then Chairman. He created and implemented structures and systems that enabled the Firm to grow and thrive long after his retirement. Tom’s contributions to Shuttleworth & Ingersoll will extend long into the future. Tom made the many community and professional organizations that he served so faithfully stronger and more impactful. He made many of us who were able to practice under his tutelage better lawyers.
