Shuttleworth & Ingersoll Welcomes Jack Maher and Mia Myers to its Team of Attorneys
September 28, 2026
The law firm of Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, P.L.C. is pleased to welcome two new attorneys, Jack Maher and Mia Myers.
“We are very pleased to have Mia and Jack join our team, and we are confident each will help us continue our long tradition of excellent client service,” said Brian Bergstrom, attorney and President at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll on the new additions to the firm.
Jack Maher is an associate attorney at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll with a general business practice that includes estate planning, entity formation, and real estate matters. In 2026, Jack earned his J.D. with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law. While attending law school, Jack worked as a research assistant for Professor Allison Guernsey and served as the Academic Director for the Moot Court Board. To Jack, exceptional client service begins with taking time to get to know clients and their businesses. Before focusing on the practice of law, Jack gained a boots-on-the-ground perspective by serving tables in restaurants, clerking at convenience stores, and working in state government. Jack also worked on farms, helped build houses, and did agricultural irrigation work. Jack hopes to use these experiences to help connect with clients. “I joined Shuttleworth & Ingersoll because the people here have made me feel valued and treated me with respect from day one. During my 10-week clerkship with the firm last year, I saw firsthand that the firm has truly talented lawyers across almost every practice area. It was hard for me to imagine a better place to learn how to become a great lawyer, or better people to learn from,” said Maher, on joining the team at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll.
Mia Myers is an associate attorney at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, P.L.C. whose practice focuses on business law, including advising clients on a range of corporate, transactional, and commercial real estate matters. While attending law school at the University of Iowa, Mia worked as a research assistant and served as the Managing Editor of the Journal of Corporation Law. Mia is committed to providing strategic and thoughtful legal counsel tailored to each client’s unique goals and needs. She works closely with clients to understand their businesses and objectives, helping them navigate legal issues, manage risk, and develop effective solutions that support their long-term interests. Myers said “I’m excited to join the firm and begin my legal career alongside such a talented group of attorneys. I’m grateful for the opportunity and look forward to getting to work,” on joining the team of attorneys.
