In addition to the open communication between attorneys, each new associate at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll is paired with a mentor. This mentor serves as both an informal sounding board, and as a formal advisor for the new attorney.
Each associate is also provided feedback on their work. This feedback is given both on an informal basis and with a more formal, annual evaluation.
Finally, our associates are encouraged to maintain a strong balance between their work and life activities. We always have been and always will be a family-friendly law firm. We encourage our associates to get involved and play an active role in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and surrounding areas.
