About Kirsten H. Frey

Kirsten is a member of the Johnson County and Iowa State Bar Associations. She has served as the Chairperson of the Johnson County Bar Association Ethics and Unauthorized Practice of Law Grievance Committee and on the Law Related Education Committee and the Professionalism Committee of the Iowa State Bar Association.
Community and Personal
An active member of the community, Kirsten serves as a board member for Johnson County Housing Trust Fund and Liberty High School Foundation starting in July 2019. She was formerly on the board for Spring Valley Homeowner’s Association, Zion Lutheran Church, and the Montessori School of Iowa City. Kirsten has also served as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business where she taught undergraduate and graduate courses.
Kirsten grew up on a farm outside Spencer, Iowa. She lives in Iowa City with her husband, Leland, and three sons, Nolan, Mitchell, and Will. In her free time, you can usually find her at a ballpark cheering on one of her sons, spending time with her family and friends, reading, cooking, or cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
