Ben is an associate attorney at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, P.L.C. whose practice focuses on medical malpractice defense.
In 2023, Ben earned his J.D. with highest distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law. While attending law school, Ben served as a research assistant for Professor Sheldon F. Kurtz. He also served as Senior Articles Editor for Volume 48 of the Journal of Corporation Law and published his student note, Time for a Tune-Up in America’s Healthcare Market: Securing the Right to Repair for Medical Devices, which received the Law360 Distinguished Legal Writing Award at the 2024 Burton Awards presented at the Library of Congress. Prior to joining the firm, Ben completed a two-year clerkship with the Honorable C.J. Williams in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Iowa.
