Teresa B. Morio (formerly Baumann) ) is an attorney and Senior Vice President at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, P.L.C. who practices primarily in commercial litigation and appeals. She represents businesses in various cases in state and federal court including those involving trade secrets, confidentiality agreements, contracts for services and goods, construction, and employment matters. Teresa also represents executors and beneficiaries in estate disputes.
Prior to joining Shuttleworth & Ingersoll Teresa practiced for several years as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa, where she focused on appellate practice in both criminal and civil law, tried criminal cases, and served as the office’s professional responsibility officer and ethics officer. Between 2005 and 2008, Teresa served as an elbow law clerk to the Honorable Judge Linda R. Reade in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa. In her career, Teresa also worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the Iowa Department of Transportation and as in-house counsel specializing in labor and employment work and litigation at Alliant Energy.
