Iowa Law Mock Trial Team Headed to National Competition, Coached by Attorney Megan Merritt

A mock trial team of three students from The University of Iowa College of Law has qualified for the National Trial Competition, taking place March 27-31 in San Antonio, Texas.The student team members include Noah Stochl, Sean Lancaster, and Micah Hawker Boehnke, who qualified for the national competition by winning the regional collegiate mock trial competition in Lincoln, Nebraska, on February 17.The team is coached by Shuttleworth & Ingersoll Attorney Megan Merritt, who also participated in mock trial as a law student at the University of Iowa College of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 2010.Megan takes pride in teaching these important skills, saying “Trial work is an incredibly nuanced skill set and I love teaching law students those skills.
