Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, P.L.C. is proud to announce Don Johnson and Sam Jones have been elected to the firm’s board of directors for 2019. Both Don and Sam will continue as full-time practicing attorneys.Don Johnson, attorney and senior vice president, joined Shuttleworth & Ingersoll in 2006 and has developed a general practice including estate planning and estate administration, taxation, and business matters. Don is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Don has achieved numerous accolades throughout his career, including being named the Best Lawyers 2019 Tax Law “Lawyer of the Year” in Cedar Rapids. Don currently serves on the board of St. Luke’s Heath Care Foundation, as well as the Linn-Mar Foundation.Sam Jones, attorney and senior vice president, has developed a courtroom practice representing individuals and businesses in court to protect their interests. In 2017, Sam was inducted to the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers, a major professional honor reserved for the best trial attorneys in Iowa. Sam is Chair of the Iowa Legal Aid Eastern Iowa Advisory Board, and recently served as board president for Willis Dady Emergency Shelter.
