Attorney Kirsten H. Frey Joins Shuttleworth & Ingersoll

Iowa City-based Attorney Kirsten H. Frey has joined the law firm of Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, P.L.C. Frey will be based in the firm’s Coralville, Iowa, office and will continue to serve her clients with a primary focus in business and corporate law, real estate law, and civil litigation. “I look forward to strengthening relationships I have with my clients as I continue to grow my practice and provide clients with a greater depth of resources available through the team of attorneys at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll. Of all the things I do as an attorney, my favorite part of my work is the relationships—it is the people I get to work with, and I work to value and honor those relationships through everything I do,” said Kirsten. Kirsten joins a team of more than fifty attorneys, with offices in Cedar Rapids and Coralville, Iowa. She graduated with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law and obtained a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Iowa Henry B. Tippie School of Management in 1995. Kirsten is a member of the Johnson County and Iowa State Bar Associations. She has served as the Chairperson of the Johnson County Bar Association Ethics and Unauthorized Practice of Law Grievance Committee and on the Law Related Education Committee and the Professionalism Committee of the Iowa State Bar Association.An active member of the community, Kirsten serves as a board member for Johnson County Housing Trust Fund and Liberty High School Foundation starting in July 2019. She was formerly on the board for Spring Valley Homeowner’s Association, Zion Lutheran Church, and the Montessori School of Iowa City. Kirsten has also served as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business where she taught undergraduate and graduate courses. Kirsten grew up on a farm outside Spencer, Iowa. She lives in Iowa City with her husband, Leland, and three sons, Nolan, Mitchell, and Will. In her free time, you can usually find her at a ballpark cheering on one of her sons, spending time with her family and friends, reading, cooking, or cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
