Our History

Shuttleworth & Ingersoll is one of Iowa's oldest law firms. The firm traces its roots back to 1854 when Judge N.M. Hubbard founded a law firm that would become Shuttleworth & Ingersoll. Today, our firm has grown to become one of Iowa's largest firms with nearly 45 talented and experienced lawyers who provide a full range of legal services to clients located in Iowa and across the nation. Its clients consist of individuals, closely held businesses of all types, sizes and stages of development, public companies, insurance companies, banks, and nonprofit organizations, including hospitals and colleges.
